StudyChinaGuide is an independent project. Its city guides, university pages and CSCA preparation samples are free for students — and they take real research, writing and upkeep to produce. Support from organizations and readers is what keeps them free. This page explains how support works and the lines it never crosses.
Sponsorship
Universities, education organizations and companies that serve international students can sponsor StudyChinaGuide. Sponsorship funds the unglamorous parts: researching and verifying university and city information, writing and updating guides, preparing practice materials, and hosting and tooling.
Sponsors are thanked publicly on this page for the period of their support. That is the whole offer — sponsorship is a way to fund a resource your future students actually use, not a way to buy placement on it.
To start a conversation, write to[email protected]with "Sponsorship" in the subject line. Tell us who you are and what you have in mind, and we will reply with current options and rates.
Individual support
If a guide or a practice set here saved you time or money, you can chip in toward the next one. We are setting up proper payment channels and would rather do that properly than bolt on something half-ready — in the meantime, write to[email protected]and we will share the current options personally.
The free way to support the project matters just as much: tell a friend who is thinking about China, and send us corrections when you spot something out of date. Accurate pages help every student who comes after you.
What support never buys
- Rankings and recommendations. Universities are listed and compared on the same criteria whether they sponsor us or not.
- Reviews or outcomes. Support never purchases praise, admission promises or scholarship guarantees — for anyone.
- Student data. Email addresses and study plans collected on this site are never sold or shared with sponsors.
- Hidden influence. Every sponsor is acknowledged on this page, with the period of support. No anonymous backing.
Support goes to content production and site operations. If that ever changes, this page changes first.
